Orientation for a career start

Vocational training, university degree, or self-employment? Young people in our region have important choices to make between a wide variety of career opportunities.

Our career orientation projects support young school graduates by offering them early opportunities for learning about working life. This helps them to find their way into a career that matches their interests and abilities. We also train high-school students to think like entrepreneurs and raise their interest in economic relationships. We raise awareness for the topic of entrepreneurship among college and university students and young creatives by helping them to develop business models, providing insights into the start-up scene and building young people's confidence to start their own businesses.

  • Career orientation

Together with partners from schools, businesses and educational facilities, Allianz für die Region GmbH is supporting adolescents in selecting a suitable career. In a consecutive series of hands-on modules, high-school students learn about their personal strengths. Thus they get to know various vocational fields and experience working life on a day-to-day basis at their host companies.

  • IDEE

We periodically host the "IDEE" (Engl. “Idea”) competition for start-ups, potential founders, students and creatives in our region. The participants develop creative, viable business models, with a focus on understanding customer requirements and ways to optimally fulfill them. A jury from science and industry ranks the entries and grants awards to the best concepts.

  • promotion school

In a competition hosted by Allianz für die Region GmbH, high-school students develop their own business ideas and learn playfully what it means to start a business. The goal of the competition is to encourage young people to pursue their ideas and learn about self-employment as a career choice.
