A region for skilled professionals

The Braunschweig-Wolfsburg region is a hotspot of innovation in Germany. To make sure that it stays that way, our projects are part of a region-wide skilled labor strategy that aims to ensure the supply of regional businesses with skilled employees.

We offer a first point of contact for foreign professionals and their families to help with all questions about their life and work here. We provide consultation for dual-career couples to support the compatibility of family and career. We also drive the development of future industries by supporting start-ups and provide assistance with company succession processes.

  • Talent network

A strong region needs smart talent and new ideas. The talent network supports companies in their human resources development and allocation to leverage the personal strengths of employees.

  • GrowIn 4.0

In the GrowIn 4.0 project, 15 partners from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands develop innovative methods, tools, and concepts for small and medium business to meet the requirements of digital transformation early on. To this end, the partners investigate the effects of digitization on existing business concepts in strategy and business model development and support the transfer of technology between research institutions, universities and industry.

  • Welcome Center

The Welcome Center was founded to support employers and foreign professionals and employees. The goal is to help cover the demand for skilled labor and offer employees from other countries a first point of contact to quickly find their bearings in their new home. Companies interested in hiring staff with a migration background receive information about the recruitment and integration of foreign employees.
